consumer fibers are
from paper that has already been used and returned through a recycling
program, diverting it from a landfill or incinerator. Processed
Chlorine Free (PCF)
is recycled paper that is unbleached or bleached without chlorine
or chlorine derivatives, Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF)
is paper processed without elemental chlorine but uses a chlorine
derivative--which produces less dioxins than elemental chlorine.
FSC Certification is from the Forest Stewardship Council which certifies forest products that use fibers are harvested in a responsible manner.
